Riverside Trauma Center, a service of Riverside Community Care, provides critical incident services to communities, schools, health and human services providers, organizations, government agencies, workplaces, and individuals in many areas of Massachusetts.
Our team is composed of highly-trained, licensed mental health professionals who have expertise in managing acute trauma, sudden or violent death, traumatic grief, and other highly stressful events.
Our trauma response team is trained in the use of the evidence-based, evidence-informed models of Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Post Traumatic Stress Management (PTSM). Our team of over 50 trauma responders includes members fluent in Hebrew, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Urdu/Hindi, German, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and American Sign Language.
Riverside Trauma Center has achieved a well-earned national reputation for excellence in providing critical incident services through our work with the Massachusetts Departments of Mental Health and Public Health, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Riverside-Massachusetts Trauma Response Network.
Riverside Trauma Center provides training sessions for mental health professionals and paraprofessionals, schools, organizations, workplaces, first responders and others. Continuing education hours are available for Psychologists, Social Workers, LMHCs, LMFTs, and Nurses for many Riverside Trauma Center sponsored trainings. We can design a customized training to provide the information that is most applicable to your organization.
